    Akustik Technologie Göttingen

    Company Portrait

Göttingen - Tradition and innovation in acoustics

Akustik Technologie Göttingen has recently moved its headquarters to a former Physics building of the University of Göttingen. By purchasing this building, the developers now have a physical link to their time as researchers at the University of Göttingen - where they once developed the basis for the si++ program system, they are now further developing their high-quality measurement systems for acoustics and vibration.

Know-how and culture in a team

Our developers have master's and doctoral degrees in Physics as well as many years of experience in designing object-oriented systems. For more than 15 years, we have been supplying this know-how to users in many different branches of industry in the form of signal analysis systems for very different applications. Our development, sales, support, marketing and administration work together closely to provide customers with optimum service. In addition to high efficiency, we place great value on a good corporate culture. We ensure people-friendly processes, collegial interaction and a pleasant work environment in which our employees not only work well but enjoy their work as well.

    The software

We develop software for data acquisition and analysis of acoustic signals and vibration as well as additional measuring quantities. Our software system si++ is object-oriented and programmed in C++. It has a modular structure on several levels (C++ object level, script level, interface modules, application modules and application interfaces). The software runs on commercially available PCs and workstations under Windows and LInux. All software modules can be combined with all available data acquisition devices. As a result of systematic development, all previously supplied devices can also be used with the latest software packages. The different applications have a totally compatible data format. A uniform operating concept ensures easy use and 100 percent compatibility of all modules among each other. For the stability and reliability of the software, new program components are developed in a team and pass through more than 2,000 automatic tests as well as intensive user tests before they are delivered.

    Partners

ATG is closely associated with Akustikbüro Göttingen. They provide expertise for noise reports, architectural acoustics and the acoustics of concert and function halls.

Soundtec GmbH is our sales company. Since 2010 Soundtec is our representative for all sales and services.

We work with measuring instruments and sensors from HEIM, Sinus, GRASS, Microflown etc.

The frequently used siPass-by measuring system was developed in cooperation with the Tescon company of Switzerland.

A development partnership with the Microflown company of the Netherlands has produced SiCamera, a system for the optical/acoustic recording of sound.
